These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the City Prints website and any purchases you make through it. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase from us.


1) About City Prints


City Prints sells printed city map posters and related products (“Products”) through our website. We sell and ship worldwide.


2) Eligibility


By using our website and placing an order, you confirm that:


  • you are at least 18 years old, or you have permission from a parent/guardian; and
  • you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3) Orders


3.1 Placing an order


When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase Products subject to these Terms.


3.2 Order confirmation


After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including (but not limited to):


  • product availability
  • errors in pricing or product information
  • suspected fraud or unauthorised transactions
  • issues with payment authorisation
  • shipping restrictions or fulfilment limitations


If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.


4) Products and availability


4.1 Product images and previews


We make reasonable efforts to display Products accurately. However:

  • colours may appear differently depending on your screen settings and device
  • product previews are for illustrative purposes and may not perfectly represent the final printed output


4.2 Product sizes and specifications


Product sizes (A1–A4 or other sizes shown) are listed on the product page. Minor variations in final size may occur due to printing and trimming tolerances.


4.3 Availability


All Products are subject to availability. We may discontinue or change Products at any time without notice.


5) Pricing and taxes


5.1 Pricing


All prices are displayed on our website in the currency shown at checkout.


We may update pricing at any time. Prices shown at the time you place your order will apply.


5.2 Taxes and duties


Depending on your location:


  • local taxes (including VAT or sales tax) may apply
  • customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees may be charged by your country’s customs authority


Unless we explicitly state otherwise at checkout, you are responsible for any customs duties or import charges.


6) Payment


We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe may offer payment methods such as credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and others depending on your location.


Your payment must be authorised before your order is processed.


We do not store your full payment card details.


7) Shipping and delivery


7.1 Worldwide shipping


We ship worldwide using third-party shipping carriers, which may vary depending on destination and service availability.


7.2 Delivery estimates


Delivery time estimates (if shown) are estimates only and not guaranteed.


Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including:


  • customs processing
  • weather events
  • carrier delays
  • peak seasonal volume
  • local delivery restrictions


7.3 Incorrect address


You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we may:


  • require payment of additional shipping fees to resend the order; or
  • issue a refund excluding original shipping costs (where applicable).


8) Printing and fulfilment partners


We use third-party print providers and fulfilment partners to produce and ship Products.


By placing an order, you acknowledge that:


  • Products may be produced and shipped by third-party partners on our behalf; and
  • we may share the information necessary to fulfil your order (such as name and shipping address) with those partners.


9) Returns, refunds, and cancellations


Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.


Because our Products are printed on demand, we may not be able to accept returns for “change of mind” purchases unless required by law.


If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at support@cityprints.co and we will make it right.


10) Intellectual property


All content on our website, including (but not limited to) designs, images, text, branding, logos, and product layouts, is owned by or licensed to City Prints and is protected by intellectual property laws.


You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of our website or Products without our prior written permission.


11) Acceptable use


You agree not to misuse our website. This includes (but is not limited to):


  • attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • interfering with the website’s functionality or security
  • using the website for unlawful purposes
  • scraping, copying, or republishing content without permission


We may suspend or block access to our website if we believe you are violating these Terms.


12) Fraud prevention


We use fraud prevention tools, including Stripe Radar, to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.


We may cancel or hold orders for additional verification where fraud is suspected.


13) Disclaimers


To the maximum extent permitted by law:


  • our website and Products are provided “as is” and “as available”;
  • we do not guarantee that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted;
  • we do not guarantee that colours shown on screen will match printed output exactly.


Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


14) Limitation of liability


To the maximum extent permitted by law, City Prints will not be liable for:


  • indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses;
  • loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;
  • delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (including shipping delays).


If we are found liable for any claim relating to your order, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the Product(s) in the relevant order.


15) Force majeure


We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to):


  • natural disasters
  • strikes or labour disputes
  • supply chain disruption
  • carrier delays
  • war, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • pandemics or public health emergencies
  • government actions or restrictions


16) Privacy


Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.


17) Changes to these Terms


We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the “Effective date” above and post the latest version on our website.


Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
